This morning in the port of Kotor sailed Seabourn Spirit. Ship sails under the flag of Bahamas, lenght is 133,80m, GRT is 9975, NRT is 3023. On board are 169 crew members and 194 passengers.

Seabourn Spirit’s 104 ocean-view suites quickly filled with eager travelers, attracted by the unique combination of features that had garnered praises for its sister-ship Seabourn Pride. A variety of lounges and bars, scaled for relaxed sociability, invite guests to get to know each other. Complimentary service of fine wines and spirits contributes to a convivial, club-like atmosphere both here and on the open teak decks, where guests find plenty of comfortable seating both in the sun and shade, and ever-attentive service including full bar service, fresh fruit smoothies and sherbets, mineral water spritzes, frozen towels and even sun lotion and sunglass cleaning. A pair of large whirlpool spas grace the sun deck, and a third one is set all the way forward on Deck 5, perfect for watching the world go by . Each Seabourn sister has a main show lounge capable of seating all guests, and an observation lounge with panoramic views on Deck 8 above the navigation bridge. The Club is a popular location for dancing before and after dinner, and into the night.

Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend are virtually identical.

Today in the port also stay “La Belle de l’Adriatique” and “Artemis”.

Following adopted business policies, management of the Port of Kotor has established the necessary security measures in accordance with procedures and guidelines of  ISO 9001:2000 and the Port Security Plan.

In order to use a reliable measure of security, the Port of Kotor Safety Office at least annually conducts a general practice which covers all or most of the measures envisaged by the approved port security plan and with the participation of all or a majority of people who have responsibilities in terms of security.

The exercise was conducted on Friday (23.03. 2012.g) as part of a wider program of exercises in the procedures (ISO 9001:2000 LKQP "Security, safety and environmental protection in the port of Kotor" and Section 3.5 of the "Port Security Plan.")

Throught the agency «Kotor Mar» from Kotor today in our port sailed the ship «Marina» of the company Oceania Cruises. Marina sailed from port of Dubrovnik and after Kotor goes to Corfu. Technical characteristics of the vessel are: sails under the flag of Marshall Islands, lenght is 240 m, GRT is 66084, NRT 28485. On board are 1177 passengers.

 The brand new Marina is the most beautiful, elegant and sophisticated ship to debut in the past 50 years. Designer touches are everywhere. More than anything, Marina personify the Oceania Cruises experience.

 Comfortably mid-size, Marina retain the same warmth and charm of their acclaimed consorts Regatta, Insignia and Nautica. As the first ships designed for lovers of fine dining and travel experiences, Marina  offer guests a total of 10 dining venues. La Reserve by Wine Spectator offers enlightening wine and food pairings.  The new Bon Appétit Culinary Center is the only hands-on cooking school at sea.  For specialty coffees and snacks, there is Baristas Coffee Bar. Intimate lounges abound. Accommodations in every category are incredibly spacious, especially with regard to the lavish bathrooms. Yet remarkably, with so many additions, the onnoard ambiance and experience remains comfortably familiar.

At eight this morning in the port of Kotor has sailed „Seabourn Odyssey”. It’s lenght is 198 m and width 26 m and sails under the flag of Bahamas. On board are 442 passengers and 327 crew members.

Seabourn Odyssey is the first in a new-class of ships for Seabourn that will accommodating just 450 guests in 225 luxury suites. Although, at 32,000 GRT, Seabourn Odyssey is more than triple the size of Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend, she was the smallest new ship being built by any major cruise line, and her guest capacity is just twice that of the smaller sisters, creating the highest space-per-guest ratio in the industry. Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. Seabourn Odyssey’s 225 ocean-view suites are divided into 13 categories. Ninety percent have private verandas. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey’s additional size is utilized to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues.
